Meet Thylane Blondeau, the model daughter of a former Premier League star

The daughter of a former Premier League star – who has been dubbed the ‘most beautiful woman in the world’ – is now making headlines.

French model Thylane Blondeau, 21, burst onto the modeling scene when she was just ten years old.

She then starred in French Vogue before reaching her teens after being spotted at a Jean Paul Gaultier show.

Now she has over 5.3 million followers on Instagram and seems to eclipse her parents’ fame.

The stunner is the child of former Sheffield Wednesday and Watford defender Patrick Blondeau.

The now 54-year-old, who has two caps for France, switched to the Premier League at the start of the 1997/98 season with the Owls from Monaco.

He only spent one season on Wednesday before going home to sign Bordeaux and then Marseille.

However, in 2001 he returned to England with Watford in the Championship for another year – just months after the birth of Thylane.

But the father-daughter duo aren’t the only famous faces in the family — his ex-wife and the model’s mother is French actress and TV presenter Veronika Loubry.

The model garnered a lot of media attention at just six years old when her big blue eyes and tousled hair earned her the title of ‘the most beautiful girl in the world’.

Thylane, who was born in Aix-en-Provence, France in 2001, was considered the next big thing in fashion, drawing comparisons to Brigitte Bardot, who appeared in Elle magazine at the age of 15.

But it was Thylane’s shoot for a beauty section in Vogue in 2011 that made her headlines as she became one of the youngest models to ever appear in the magazine.

Since the famous Vogue shoot, the star has gone from strength to strength with her modeling career, having worked for Dolce & Gabbana and L’Oreal and starting her own brand called Heaven May in 2018.

Thylane was #1 in the independent critics list of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2018.

She said afterwards: “I can’t believe it myself, thank you very much.”

“I talk to them all the time, and my mom often helps me answer messages.”

And not ready to rest on her laurels, she recently posed in Monte Carlo as her Insta followers soared to 5.3 million.

When quizzed about her growing social media following a few years ago, Thylane told Frivolette, “You know, this doesn’t affect me in any way.

“I’m still young, I’m happy. And I try to do everything for my “Thylans”.
